Broccoli Salad
Great for picnics or lunch, this healthy salad is high in vitamins A and C.Â
Ingredients for the Salad
- 1 head of broccoli, washed
- 4 slices bacon cooked, crisp
- ½ cup golden raisinsÂ
- ¼ cup onions (red works best)
- ½ cup sunflower seedsÂ
Ingredients for the Dressing
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegarÂ
- ¾ cup mayonnaiseÂ
- ¼ cup sugarÂ
Recipe Directions
- Cut broccoli into small pieces (discard large hard stem) and place in bowl.
- Crumble bacon into broccoli mix, add raisins and onion.Â
- Prepare dressing.Â
- Gradually stir dressing into salad and mix slowly. Use just enough dressing to provide taste. (There may be leftover dressing.)Â
