Broccoli Salad

Great for picnics or lunch, this healthy salad is high in vitamins A and C. 

Ingredients for the Salad

  • 1 head of broccoli, washed
  • 4 slices bacon cooked, crisp
  • ½ cup golden raisins 
  • ¼ cup onions (red works best)
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds 

Ingredients for the Dressing

  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar 
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise 
  • ¼ cup sugar 

Recipe Directions

  1. Cut broccoli into small pieces (discard large hard stem) and place in bowl.
  2. Crumble bacon into broccoli mix, add raisins and onion. 
  3. Prepare dressing. 
  4. Gradually stir dressing into salad and mix slowly. Use just enough dressing to provide taste. (There may be leftover dressing.)Â
