cranberry sauceCranberry Sauce

This traditional holiday side dish is a great source of antioxidants. It’s also easy and so much tastier than cranberry sauce in a can!

Serves 6

  • 12 oz bag fresh cranberries 
  • ¾ to 1 cup sugar 
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan. 
  2. Bring to a boil while stirring. 
  3. Continue stirring while allowing to boil gently for about 15 to 20 minutes until the cranberries burst. 
  4. Remove from heat. 
  5. Cover and cool completely at room temperature. 
  6. Refrigerate until serving time.
