Give your family the gift of good health by having this no-bake, portable snack on hand for the times you are on the go. Energy bites are an excellent snack that provides healthy fat, protein, and antioxidants. Flax seeds are a great source of fiber, as well as omega 3. Makes 8 servings.
• ¾ cup peanut butter
• ½ cup dark chocolate chips
• ½ cup old fashioned oats
• 1 Tbsp honey
• ¼ cup flaxseed (optional)
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Stir to combine.
2. Place in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes then roll into 12 bites and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
