The third annual HEAL Day is Tuesday, May 4th, and everyone is invited!
This year’s free event will be held virtually on May 4th from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM. Join Governor Kay Ivey, American Idol star Taylor Hicks, and students across Alabama in celebrating HEAL Day. This action-packed fifteen minutes will inspire children and adults to embrace healthy behaviors that fuel academic performance and workforce readiness.
Alabama will unite to celebrate a moment of healthy fun, singing, and dancing to our new book ABCs the HEAL Way. The book playfully integrates fun health behaviors and emergent reading skills that fuel academic performance and a love for learning.

Registered participants can:
- Receive “ABCs The Heal Way” song, lyrics, and pre-release copies of the book. (while supplies last)
- Listen to Alabama Governor Ivey officially launch and read aloud from ABCs the HEAL Way.
- Dance along with Taylor Hicks as he debuts the new HEAL song and music video of “ABCs the HEAL Way.” Taylor Hicks is an American Idol Champion, Platinum-selling singer/songwriter, Broadway star, television host, and restaurateur.
