Homemade Guacamole

Serve with carrot slices, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes and radishes for a high fiber snack!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons coarsely chopped onion (red if possible)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt 
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ small jalapeño pepper minced (to your liking)
  • 1 ripe peeled avocado
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro leaves or 2 tablespoons salsa

 

Recipe Directions

  1. Peel and mash 1 ripe avocado with a fork until creamy texture is reached!
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.
