Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan

Cheese and broccoli have calcium to maintain strong bones!

Other vegetables to use in this recipe:cauliflower, fresh green beans, or zucchini.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400º. 
  2. Wash and cut broccoli florets. Arrange in a single layer on baking sheet. Drizzle with oil, season with salt and pepper. Toss and roast for about 15 minutes. 
  3. Turn broccoli and sprinkle with parmesan. Cook until cheese melts, about 5 minutes. 
  4. Remove from oven and enjoy!
